It's really sad to think that the same company that made League of Legends could make a game this abysmally bad. Everything from the game mechanics, map design, characters, abilities, animations and more make me thing that this was ripped from hard drives at Valve and Blizzard. This game is a lazy fusion of CS:GO and Overwatch. Not even to mention that This game is not unique in any way. They could’ve made the gun skins cheaper tho….
I like the creativity of the graphics of the map and the agent’s background. Or you can just instant lock Reyna and race every round if you’re good/or smurfing. If I forgot to mention that this is a team game, making decisions based on your team is important. I would recommend watching professional matches to help you when it comes to in-game decisions. Learning about each agent’s skill definitely helped me when it comes to making decisions each round. I was struggling at first because I had no idea what each agent does until I learned each and every one of them. Aside from the shooting mechanic, all that is left is the agent and the in-game decision. I would 102% recommend it as it might also help you with different guns. You can even do some practice in Valorant’s shooting range. I would recommend using Aimlab to practice aiming and do some warmup before competitive games if you don’t want to get crushed.
All I can say is, if you want to focus on playing competitively, you should definitely start aim training. Literally, all you have to do is put your crosshair at their hitbox and shoot.
Coming from Fortnite, where hitscan is the shooting mechanic which makes shooting way easier. I did not like the shooting mechanic at all. I started playing two months ago and having played any first-person shooter games, makes my first valiant experience a bad experience. You’ll have no chance at winning the gunfight. To play rank, you kind of need to have a good aim. Similar to CS:GO, the shooting mechanic of the game makes new play rage or frustrated during the game, I pretty much get frustrated because of the bullet spray mechanic. I started For me, Valorant isn’t an easy game to start like most shooting games.
